Routine

When I get home from work, I almost always have to pee.

But, when I get home from work, my dog always wants some loves.

I usually just ignore her until after I'm finished, but apparently that was unacceptable to the puppy because we have a new routine.

I come home from work, go to the bathroom, puppy follows, and sits on my lap.

Talk about an awkward routine!!

I guess it's just getting my ready for motherhood (someday) when there's no such thing as privacy (so I hear).

Borders is closing.

And while that's a bummer, books at 50-70% off is awesome!

I was off today and D took the day off because he was at a vehicle fire most of the night last night and was exhausted. When he woke up and I recovered from a freak allergy attack (you know, the kind where hives cover your face and neck), we decided to go to Borders and see what kind of deals we could find.

Oh. My. Goodness.

We bought the Band of Brothers DVD set for half off, the Life DVD set for half off, The Hobbit for 6 bucks, The Polar Express for 9 bucks, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever for a buck, Charlie Brown Christmas piano music for 5 bucks, and some children's firefighter books for a buck each.

WIN!

D and I want to have books in our home and we want to read to our kids so to have the opportunity to buy books for super cheap (to prepare) was awesome!

3 Things

1. There were people outside of Walmart today trying to get everyone coming into Walmart to listen to them and sign something about taxes and government. I pretended to be deaf so they would leave me alone. (That'll probably come back to haunt me some day...karma and such...)

2. I am a convert to the belief that a good, correct-fitting bra is totally worth the extra $$. Go! Get fitted! Wear the right bra! Macy's and Nordstroms do bra fittings - get yourself there and get the girls fitted! :)

3. Today is D's birthday! The big 2-7! I love him more than ever and am so grateful for him! Seriously, words can't express how much he means to me.
