Upgraded to Domestic Diva

With school being out for the break, I have actually enjoyed doing a few "domestic" things: baking Christmas cookies, and a Christmas craft!  Don't laugh, I'm serious! 

 

I made Candy-cane cookies, gingerbread cookies, and chocolate-peanut-butter-chip cookies and they all taste amazing!  (I also tried making caramel, which I am usually really good at, but it didn't feel like cooperating this year.)

I also made this "Believe" sign!  Red and green pain on 2" blocks and silver lettering.  Dustin helped by sanding the blocks for me first because he's the best.  Now it sits on top of our entertainment center and I love it!  It's my new favorite Christmas decoration.  I love being reminded to believe in the spirit of Santa and especially in Christ.  :)  (Don't worry, this craft happened separate from the cookies, so there is no sawdust in the cookies.)
