We didn't have power for most of the day. Someone ran into a power-line pole thing and knocked out power for only our block.
Wait, let's rewind.
We went to the Bay Area yesterday to see S and D&N and baby Z. Totally awesome!!!!!!!!
Then, I started feeling really sick. Like, congested, sore throat, headache, achey sick.
So I went home and slept instead of staying the night down there.
Woke up today with no power.
Which means no hot shower or anything.
Which went a long way in not helping me feel any better.
But I also couldn't do my hair for church - so I looked and felt gross.
And I couldn't eat anything warm because there was no way to heat it up - so I was starving too.
I did the only thing I could do: went to church wearing slippers, taught my lesson, came home and slept for a looooooooooooooooooooong time.
And then the power came back on at 8:30 at night. :)
Good story, huh?
Totally Loved seeing you, D, D and N...and of course Baby Z! I Skip D...again...lol. Hope you feel better. I could tell you were getting a little stuffy when you left. Loved seeing you guys though!
ReplyDeleteOh no!! I would hate it if I had to go somewhere looking like I just got out of bed. Even if I probably looked okay, I would still feel gross! But you...I bet you still looked like a supermodel!
