This post will be a mixed bag. Enjoy a taste of my ADHD-ness. :)
I found out today that I will not be able to go back to work in March, as previously planned. Instead, it's looking like I will have a permanent IV line put in this next week. Yay for hydration whenever I want/need. Boo for the risks associated with a PICC line (especially one that will be in for 3 months, or so).
We have been slowly tackling my nesting "to do" list.
I finished 5 new throw pillows for the master bedroom (pictures to follow) and in the process learned how to use my sewing machine (although I still wish I could sew with a hot glue gun). :) Next up, curtains for the master bedroom.
My clothes have been moved to the soon-to-be master bedroom (which initially caused all the shelving in that closet to come CRASHING down and scare the daylights out of me, but D has since fixed it) and a desk is now in one of the soon-to-be-J's-room closets.
Once the closet office is finished, we can take our existing desk up to the barn, which will make it INFINITELY easier to switch the bedrooms around. And clean the carpets.
I still haven't been able to gain weight. My diet currently consists of white french bread and small red potatoes. And Gatorade. I am sick of all three. Especially the Gatorade. Because I'm not gaining weight, I look about the same as I did at 3 months pregnant. I'm 6 months pregnant. Awesome.
J is growing ever more strong and active, which helps ease my crazy-pregnant-person mind. His favorite place lately is up under my right ribs. I can't figure out why, but we frequently battle over this choice - I try and push him out of my ribs and he wiggles his way back up under them.
Puppy has become increasingly protective of and affectionate towards me. It's pretty awesome to be her favorite person. We snuggle pretty much all day long and I love it.
I am counting down the days until my momma and N and S come to visit - one more month!!
And, I'm tired. :) The end!
