D and I haven't really celebrated Valentine's Day since we were dating.
So this year I told him exactly what I wanted:
flowers delivered to me at work.
Embarrassing? Perhaps.
Cliche? Definitely.
But, it's never happened to me before and I think it would be fun and sweet to receive such a public display of love even when by love isn't there. To know that he's thinking of me from afar (and in advance!) would be really nice.
Does it make it mean less if I told him that's what I want him to do?

It just means I'll be a very happy girl this Valentine's Day.

I TOTALLY have to do this with Dan every holiday/birthday. Tell him exactly otherwise he a)won't even remember there is a holiday/birthday happening or b)he'll get me nothing.
