Three Months!

Jackson is three months old today!

Nicknames: Jack, Jack-Jack, Jackie, Little Man, Doddle Bug, Bug, Bug-a-boo, Jack-a-roo

This month:

• Jackson is done with casts!  The 8th one was the last one.  He now wears a brace on both feet for 23 hours a day to keep his left foot in place. 
• Jack swims - he gets it from his daddy.  We have gone swimming many times - at Mema and Bepa's, at the kiddie pool in our apartment complex, and at Aunt S and Uncle C's.
• He loves sucking on his hands.
• He hates waking up - he gets that from his momma.
• He loves looking at himself in the mirror and always smiles when he sees himself.
• Smiling is coming much easier.  His happiest place is on his changing pad where he can see his tree.  Aunt S can get the most smiles out of him - more than anyone else!
• Jack still hates the car seat.
• He loves his swing - fortunately our swing plugs in and it has been a life saver!
• He love love loves sucking on his hands!
• He loves having his face drawn with your finger.  Totally relaxes him.
• He is sleeping through the night pretty consistently - from around 11:30 at night until 6:30 in the morning.
• He still loves snuggles, which I love!
• He loves music!  There's a piano at the end of his playmat and he loves to kick it and make it play music.  He also loves the music that the mobile on his crib plays and that plays on the swing.  He also loves listening to singing or piano playing.
• Jack gets crazy bed head, just like his daddy.  I can smooth down his hair and 5 seconds later it'll all be sticking up all over the place again.
• We have no idea what color his hair is, but his eyes are definitely blue!
• He has tried little tastes of otter pops, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup.  Yeah, we're bad eggs ;)
• He's 11 1/2 pounds, but has a tiny bum (we don't know where he gets that from!) so he's in 0-3 tops/onesies and newborn bottoms.

He's just the sweetest boy and we love him so much!!
