Visiting from Oregon

Post FD and FS, I felt like my home was totally quiet and empty and I didn't really know what to do with myself, so I invited my mom and sister to come and visit (and, I'll be honest, I needed some mom and sister time).  And they did!
Talk about serious fun!

We went to the Jelly Belly factory and played and then spent the next 4 days eating way too many Belly Flops.

We had lots and lots and lots and lots of playtime (which I don't have many pictures of because I was too busy playing!).

We went down to Newark for Grammy T's birthday - my Dad and brother P also came for Grammy's birthday, so we got to play with even more family members.  One of J's most favorite things to go in the world is to pretend to drive a car, and Grampa was happy to drive with J.  J honked the horn, pushed buttons, and said "vroom vroom" over and over.

Gramma helped style J's hair - check out that serious curl!

We did some fall finger painting - seriously messy and seriously fun!
We now have some really great fall trees hanging up in the playroom.

My mom is an angel and she sewed new coordinating car-seat covers for J's and our future-foster-daughter.  Are these not the cutest things you've ever seen in your life?!

Gramma and J got lots of snuggle time in.

We played for a morning at the Children's Museum.  His favorite part was the train table, hands down.  He liked the water station, but the best part of the water station was the ship's captains wheel thing - he loves to drive!  He also liked the baby (under 3) area - there was a fort thing with steps and a slide and he loved going up and down both.  He also gave kisses to the paintings of dogs and cats on the walls.  The gear wall and the super huge lite-brite wall were pretty great, too.  It was so super fun and J and I can't wait to go back!

We also had some fun with Avengers temporary tattoos.

I'm such a lucky lady to have such a great momma and sister!
And J is also lucky to have such an awesome Gramma and auntie!
