Zombie Apocalypse

I watched my first episode of The Walking Dead a week ago.

It literally made me throw up (the guts and gore, not the zombies).

And then, I came to a terrible realization.

In case of a zombie apocalypse, I have nothing to contribute to the compound.

My skills are totally not valuable in case of a zombie apocalypse!

Theatre? 

Piano?

Singing?

Napping?
Talking at length about ANTM?
Shopping for deals at Target?
 Probably not the most valuable skill set.

I don't cook.

I can't pro-create and repopulate the world.

I have no defense skills (bow and arrow, shooting, etc) to protect the compound.

I'm not an engineer or scientist or teacher or doctor (in fact, guts and gore make me vomit).

I have no construction skills.  Deconstruction, sure.  But not construction.

I am now hoping that there isn't a zombie apocalypse.
Or that the people who end up stuck with me keep me around for my ridiculously good looks and quick wit.

Maybe it's time to learn a new skill.
Someone wanna teach me how to do construction?
