Thanks to W's brilliant idea at work this week, we're doing
Biggest Loser
at work!
We all weighed in on Thursday (ouch) and we're competing against each other until April 1. The biggest loser (the one who loses the biggest percentage of weight) wins $5 from everyone. Not everyone in the store is participating, but most of us are.
I just have to say that it's really great to be doing this with this group of people. No one is huge like the contestants on Biggest Loser, but we all want to get in better shape and need some extra motivation. So far, we've all been encouraging each other to eat well, work out, etc. It's awesome.
I'm gonna be honest, I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life. My goal for this Biggest Loser thing is to drop 20 lbs by April 1. That's 3 lbs a week. I think I can do it (especially knowing who I'm married to).
So, last night, D and I got to work. We planed my meals for the next week, including counting calories (I'm on a 1500 calorie/day diet), and he's working on my workout schedule.
I'm going to be such a loser by April 1!
Ummm, you could never be a loser...(isn't that the nice thing to say??) This is so awesome and such a great idea. I too am at my heaviest. And it sure isn't fun. Keep the posts coming so you can continue to inspire us all!
