How does your garden grow?

Earlier this year, I tried to plant an herb garden.

Because we live in an apartment complex, strangers come and mow the grass and trim the bushes etc. once a week. They ignored/didn't see my little pots of herbs and start of tomatoes and strawberries and so many of them got knocked over or blown away. :(

And it's been cold here.
(It's almost June! Where's my summer?!?!? Where's my spring for that matter?!?!?!)
Anyway... things weren't really growing.

I decided to try again today. Rather than start from seeds again, I bought little plant starters at Lowes and just transplanted them into my pots and planters.
Tomatoes are hanging on the left. Strawberries on the right.
In the planter below is Oregano, Rosemary, Basil and Cilantro. Lowes didn't have Dill, so I'm going to have to go back and find that one another time.

Anyway, hopefully the weather will be nice and sunshiney and my little plants will grow!

  3. I've had a garden for several years now, and I've never been able to grow cilantro. That darned stuff always goes straight to seed. I'm jelly. You have a beautiful herb garden!! :)
