Really? really.

i am really grateful for my husband who understands that it's ok for me, and for him, to have friends apart from one another. i'm grateful my husband understands that i can't always talk to him about theatre stuff (even though he's a fantastic listener) and i'm grateful he understands that he can't always talk to me about EMT stuff (because it grosses me out). i'm grateful that we both understand that we're not breaking our temple covenants to have friends besides each other. we are each other's best friends and understand that we both have needs we cannot completely fill. so, we put each other's needs first and let one another have friends. and we're still completely loyal to one another and at the end of the day, we couldn't imagine having married anyone else.

i think it's ridiculous that i got an email today about how one of my good friends can't ever communicate with me about anything anymore because he's married.

really? really.

i'm grateful for my husband.
