A Case of the Mondays

It's Wednesday.

But it sure felt like a Monday.

I ate a peach.  I love peaches.  I love having fresh produce to eat.  I washed my peach and ate it all up and then my face started itching really badly.  And my hands.  And my eyes.  And then I looked in the mirror and saw that my face, especially the area around my mouth, was covered in hives.  So I scratched the big plans I had to go out and conquer the world.

We had a late rehearsal tonight.  I stopped by the gas station to get a coke.  I was driving the scooter.  I had the coke between my feet and made it from the gas station on 9th to PTC no problems!  It was raining and I was wearing glasses so my navigation was...stunted.  I turned corners and everything and yet the coke was safe!  And then, I parked.  And the huge coke went flying into the street. I got coke all over my right leg, bottom of my jeans, and feet (which were, of course, in flip flops).  And still had to go to rehearsal.

I came home after rehearsal and made myself a plate of food from leftovers from dinner - rice and chicken.  I put the plate in the microwave, heated it up, then took it over to the couch to eat.  I sat down and tipped the whole plate all over myself.  Rice and chicken went everywhere.  All over me, all over the couch, all over the floor.  And, to remind you, it had all just come out of the microwave.  Yeah...

And those are just the moments that were stinky.

I can see the weekend just ahead!  Are we there yet?

  1. Tell me about it. 10 pages down on my paper tonight and a few more to do. I am looking for anything else to do.

  2. I wouldn't blame you if you had cried. I'm a notorious cryer in situations like that.

  3. I am not laughing...instead, I am crying because I know what those days are like!! I am so sorry! (Ok, but if I were there during the coke-spilling fiasco, I probably would have laughed...but then you would have too, and everything would have been better.) So what did we learn from this? You must always carry me along on the back of your scooter so we can laugh together and the stupid things that happen. :)
