D and I escaped to Tahoe this past weekend (thanks to the inlaws) and enjoyed some time away from our home-sweet-trailerhome and work and responsibilities and such.
It was gorgeous! The weather was perfect all weekend.
We stayed in Squaw Valley, about 5 miles west of Tahoe City (North Shore).
We ate lunch at Hard Rock Cafe (neither of us had been there before) on Halloween because we didn't want to go out on Halloween night. (I guess we just don't have any holiday spirit!) :)
I don't know why the background is a little pink in this picture (maybe it's time for a new camera?) but we were so happy to spend the weekend together just hanging out with no schedules or demands.
It was hard to come home knowing I'm working a 6 day week this week...
Maybe we should go back.
