Living the Dream

There was this one time when we bought a car (Roxanne) and then her engine exploded and we didn't have a car for over a year.

All that changed yesterday.

We bought a car!

Not just any car, but a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE.

And we've named her Charlotte.

Chuck for short.

The dealership had this car marked way down to get people to come in and then they planned to up-sell them on different cars because this one was priced too low for them to actually want to sell it. But then we bought it. Ha.

So, horray new (to us) car. It has 32,000 miles on it (it was a rental) and a 7-year/100,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warrantee. We won't get screwed by a car again. :)

And, I won't have to feel like a teenager driving around my FIL's truck.

Yay adulthood.
