Groceries for Sale

If I had the money, I think I would grocery shop entirely at smaller grocery stores.

I would say 95% of the time, we grocery shop at Winco. And that's fine. It's cheap. But it's huge. And generic.

I went to Safeway tonight because I just needed a few things and it's close. And I doubted Winco would have them. Safeway was more expensive, but not on everything. And it was a much more peaceful experience for me. The store was cleaner, calmer, and I enjoyed walking up and down the aisles, thinking about what we needed, what would be fun to try, etc. Safeway definitely had more specialty things, which was fun (maybe I'm chowing down on one of them now?).

My bill honestly came out to about the same as Winco. Maybe a little more. I know it could've been way more if I had let myself go bananas and not shopped the sales (but where would I put all the food?! There's not enough room in the home-sweet-trailerhome!). But my anxiety level is super low right now (especially for having just grocery shopped), and that's awesome.
