Five Months!

This month:

• J started eating veggies and fruits - sweet potatoes, butternut squash, peas, carrots and applesauce.  Applesauce is his favorite.
• J sleeps through the night still - falls asleep between 10 and 11pm, wakes up around 7 to eat 6 oz. and then falls back asleep until between 10 an 11am.  I am one happy momma!
• J still loves music.  Not only does it make him incredibly happy, it also calms him down when he's freaking out.  To get some of the smiles in the pictures above, I was singing the BYU fight song.
• D can get him to sleep quicker and better than anyone else can.
• If an object is in his hands, it is going in his mouth.
• J is trying hard to roll over, but still hasn't quite gotten it yet.  He gets to his side and then gets stuck - I think it's the brace that's stopping him.  We'll see what happens when it comes off in the next month.
• J is super ticklish!  His feet, ribs, tummy, legs, neck - all ticklish!  He doesn't giggle so much as he just squeals.
• He can fit all of his fingers in his mouth and does frequently.
• He is a drool monster!  Maybe because he always has his fingers in his mouth.
• He still gets snuggly when he's tired.  That's when I get the most and best snuggles.
• He definitely recognizes and loves his momma and dad.  And it makes me so joyous to see him smile at me!  Nothing makes me happier.

We can't believe how quickly Jack has grown!  And we love him so much!
